In order to serve the interests of its shareholders appropriately, Greenfield has implemented a detailed governance structure covering Greenfield, the funds itself and the individual portfolio companies.

At the portfolio companies, considerable care and attention is given to supervision of its management. The funds are typically represented by at least one supervisory board member. In addition to formal supervision, the funds managers work closely together with management and employees of the portfolio companies at an operational level.
The supervisory board at the Greenfield level consists of four individuals, each with a relevant background and significant experience in order to supervise and advise on financial, legal and operational issues. The current members of the supervisory board of Greenfield Capital Partners B.V. are:
Mr. R.J. Lijdsman - Chairman
Mr. Lijdsman is a civil law notary and partner with Allen & Overy. He predominantly advises companies listed on the AEX and other stock exchanges in respect of setting up international structures and the various applicable fiscal regimes. He also advises clients on privatisations, joint ventures, management buy-outs and buy-ins and restructuring operations.
Mr. W.A.F.G. Vermeend
Mr. Vermeend is former Dutch State Secretary of Finance in the period 1994 - 2000 and Minister of Social Affairs from 2000 � 2002. In 2003 he became CEO of Meeus Groep, a leading Dutch insurance, mortgage and real estate company. Mr. Vermeend holds several supervisory board positions and is professor in tax law and fiscal economy with the University of Maastricht.
Prof. Dr. R.A.H. van der Meer
From 1989 until 1995 Mr. Van der Meer was a member of the executive board of Aegon. From 1995 until 2002 he worked for Fortis, first as a member of the executive board of Fortis Amev NV and from 1999 as member of the executive committee of Fortis Insurance Holding NV. Since 1989, he is a Professor of Finance at the University of Groningen and since 2004 he is adviser of the Enterprise Chamber of the court of justice in Amsterdam. He holds a number of non-executive board memberships or advisory positions with investment companies, pension funds, real estate management companies, insurance and ICT companies.
Drs. S. Wijma RA
Mr. Wijma joined Greenfield in 2000 as founder of the Berghave fund. He is a former partner and member of the Board of Directors of Deloitte&Touche and owner/founder of an independent M&A advisory boutique. Mr. Wijma has been active in the private equity sector since 1989. At the end of 2007, he stepped down as partner with Greenfield and joined the Supervisory Board.
